What awaits you in this role?

• In this dynamic Central Buyer role, you will be at the heart of our company's supply chain, managing strategic purchasing activities and directly contributing to our company's profitability and operational efficiency.

• You will manage end-to-end purchasing processes for a wide range of direct production commodities, taking an active role in all steps, from initial market research and supplier identification to complex negotiations and final contract signing.

• Your responsibilities will include evaluating potential suppliers, managing detailed Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes, conducting cost analyses, monitoring supplier performance, and identifying areas for improvement. Furthermore, managing supply risks and building sustainable supplier relationships will be among your core duties.

• This role goes beyond transactional purchasing; it requires strategic thinking, understanding market dynamics, and finding innovative supply solutions. You will work closely with internal stakeholders from various departments such as Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, Finance, and Legal to understand their needs and provide the most suitable supply solutions.

What are we looking for in this position?

• Develops strategy to achieve cost, supplier manufacturing footprint, and scale benefits,

• Actively work to identify cost reduction opportunities, localization plans, work with suppliers and internal stake holders to achieve TVM (Total Cost Value Management) targets,

• Delivers optimal commodity cost by applying cost estimates, benchmarking, competitive bids and market intelligence as tools,

• Negotiate & settle raw material price escalation considering economics,

• Execute price settlement in WIPS, SAP - Ariba - S4 Hana and I-ERP systems,

• Support supply chain, MP&L (Material Planning & Logistic) to meet 100% production & service parts requirements,

• Execute price settlement in WIPS, SAP - Ariba - S4 Hana and I-ERP systems.

Technical & Behavioural Skills and Competencies

• BSc, Master's or Ph.D. Degree of Mechanical, Industrial Engineering (Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering, Business Administration and similar analytical depts. ),

• Minimum 3-4 years experience in purchasing function for Central Buyers (Preferable technical and automative industries),

• Fluent in English (both written and verbal),

• Ability to work with global cross functional Ford and Ford Otosan teams,

• Excellent business acumen, result-orientated in challenging and adventuring environment,

• Agile mindset, tolerant, flexible. Open to develop technical skills,

• Ability to understand the nature of supplier business and technical capability,

• No military obligation for male candidates,

• Valid driving license and flexible for traveling.
