Centre Director

We are seeking an experienced early learning professional to elevate their career, refine their leadership skills, and drive a thriving business as a Centre Director at Goodstart.

As a Centre Director, you will be at the heart of our leadership team, playing a pivotal role in supporting and developing the Teachers and Educators in your centre. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and communities, fully embracing the profound impact of your role in their lives.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver our bespoke learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice
• Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement
• Work with your team to plan for the future of your centre, building the attendance pipeline and maintaining a revenue-generating business

About Goodstart Centenary Heights

We are a brand-new, state-of-the-art centre, and we are seeking a passionate and experienced leader to inspire and make their mark. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of early education for local families.

• Full-time leadership position, working within the centre's welcoming operating hours of 6am - 6pm, Monday - Friday.
• Lead an 80-place, Meeting-rated centre with a strong commitment to quality and community
• Join our newest purpose-built, architecturally designed centre on the corner of Ramsay and Alderley Streets, Centenary Heights
• Work with state-of-the-art facilities and thoughtfully designed learning environments, from nursery through to kindergarten
• Oversee inspiring outdoor play spaces offering nature-based learning, including:
  • Dedicated junior play space for our Nursery children
  • A vibrant senior play space for Toddlers and Kindergarten with water play, sandpits, sensory paths, yarning circle, and quiet retreat areas

You'll need:

• A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)
• Experience with leading and managing change within education, health, or community services
• Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
• Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
