Position Summary
The Chain Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key chain retail accounts to drive sales, maximize product visibility, and achieve company growth objectives across Galli Beer Distributing’s portfolio. This role works closely with internal sales teams, suppliers, and customers to execute chain-specific programs, manage pricing and promotions, and ensure alignment with supplier and company strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all chain account buyers and managers, ensuring timely communication and exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement sales plans and promotional strategies to achieve volume, distribution, and display goals across assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to coordinate programming, pricing, and feature activity for chain retailers.
  • Analyze account performance, sales trends, and category data to identify opportunities for growth and improved market penetration.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting of sales results, pricing compliance, and program performance to management and suppliers.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Galli Beer Distributing’s portfolio and ensure all brands are properly represented within accounts.
  • Strengthen long-term partnerships with retail chains through consistent follow-up, problem-solving, and value-added service.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of beverage industry or CPG account management experience.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with sales reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, as needed to service accounts and attend meetings.
