We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Chartered Accountant (CA) to oversee and manage the financial health of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in accounting, compliance with statutory regulations, and timely reporting of financial performance. This role requires a thorough understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax laws, strong analytical capabilities, and proficiency in SAP for financial management and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing of books of accounts.
- Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, ledgers, and intercompany balances.
2. Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations.
- Review and file monthly, quarterly, and annual returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
- Coordinate and manage statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and tax authorities for assessments and queries.
3. Audit & Control
- Support statutory and internal audit processes by providing accurate documentation and schedules.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and compliance.
4. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor cost structures and contribute to cost optimization initiatives.
5. SAP & System Management
- Work efficiently on SAP (preferably FI/CO module) for accounting, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Ensure proper configuration and data integrity in financial modules.
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to improve automation and process efficiency.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax laws and compliance procedures.
- Proficiency in SAP (FI/CO module preferred) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in corporate finance, audit firms, or manufacturing/service sectors.
- Experience with ERP-based accounting and reporting systems.
