About the Role:

The Manager – Audit Quality will play a critical role in KPMG’s 2nd Line of Defense (2LoD), focusing on audit quality, professional skepticism, and enhancing team capabilities. This role provides real-time support and coaching to engagement teams, ensuring audits are conducted in accordance with professional standards

Key Responsibilities:

● Conduct independent, in-depth reviews of significant risks and key areas of focus on audit engagements. ● Ensure Key Audit Matters (KAM) compliance in engagement files. ● Provide coaching and support to audit teams to enhance “learning on the job.” ● Drive efficiency in audit approaches and methodologies. ● Contribute to other Quality & Risk initiatives, including audit milestone monitoring, monthly Q&R MIS, standardization, and audit quality project management.

Skills & Experience Required:

● Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification. ● 5–10 years of relevant experience in audit quality, with preference for candidates from statutory audit background. ● Strong understanding of Key Audit Matters (KAM) and Indian Auditing Standards.● Excellent drafting, oral, and written communication skills. ● Self-motivated, able to work independently or in teams. ● Strong coordination and task management skills. ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,900,000.00 per year
