Chartered Accountant (General accountant for businesses and personal assets)

We are looking for a reliable and organized Chartered Accountant to be our single point of contact for all accounting and compliance matters across our:

• Small tobacco trading & manufacturing business (excise goods)
• Real estate business
• Personal accounts and assets

This role is focused on keeping all financials clean, compliant, organized, and fully under control. The accountant will provide us with a clear and accurate financial overview at all times.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Control

• Maintain and manage all accounts for:
• Tobacco business
• Real estate business
• Personal finances
• Ensure:
• Proper bookkeeping
• Accurate records
• Clear monthly and yearly financial reports
• Keep a complete overview of cash flow, income, stocks, and expenses

2. Excise & Regulatory Compliance (Tobacco Business)

• Handle:
• Excise Returns
• Excise reporting, compliance and documentation
• Ensure:
• Full compliance with all excise and customs regulations
• Records are always audit-ready

3. Tax & Statutory Compliance

• Manage all:
• Corporate taxes
• VAT
• Excise taxes
• Ensure:
• Accurate and on-time filings
• Full compliance with local regulations
• Act as the main point of contact with tax authorities

4. Audit Management

• Fully manage:
• Yearly audits for all businesses
• Communication with external auditors
• Prepare:
• Financial statements
• Supporting schedules and documentation

5. Banking & Payments

• Oversee:
• Bank reconciliations
• Bank transactions
• Payments to suppliers
• Tax and government payments
• Ensure proper controls and records for all payments

Requirements

• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Minimum 4–7 years experience
• Experience in:
• Excise goods accounting (tobacco preferred)
• Real estate accounting
• Small business accounting
• Strong knowledge of:
• Tax compliance
• Audits
• Financial reporting
• Accounting software (Tally, Zoho)
• Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Highly organized, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working directly with business owners

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
