About the Role: We are looking for a talented and passionate chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in authentic Italian cuisine and a deep understanding of traditional and modern Italian cooking techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook authentic Italian dishes, including pasta, risotto, pizzas, and traditional Italian entrees
- Prepare catering for 10-500 persons
- Create and execute menu items maintaining authentic Italian flavors and presentation
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet the highest standards
- Manage kitchen operations and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff on Italian cooking techniques
- Monitor food costs and minimize waste
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop new menu items and seasonal specials
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as Chef in a professional kitchen
- Expertise in traditional Italian cooking methods and regional cuisines
- Strong knowledge of Italian ingredients, pasta making, and sauce preparations
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Creativity and passion for Italian culinary arts
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in fine dining or upscale Italian restaurants
- Knowledge of modern Italian cooking trends
- Pizza ,pasat and bread making expertise
- Ability to manage kitchen inventory and ordering
