Food Preparation & Cooking
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Colibri Café’s recipes, portion, and presentation standards.
- Focus on healthy, fresh, and nutritious meal preparation (salad bowls, menu.).
- Ensure consistency and quality in every dish served.
- Support the Head Chef in creating new healthy menu items or seasonal specials.
Kitchen Operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in your designated section at all times.
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and labeling procedures (FIFO system).
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist in daily mise en place and ensure ingredients are prepared before service.
- Monitor and minimize food wastage.
Teamwork & Training
- Supervise and guide Commis Chefs and kitchen helpers.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Communicate effectively during service and maintain a positive working environment.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Check stock levels, request supplies when necessary, and assist in stock rotation.
- Report shortages, equipment issues, or maintenance needs promptly.
- Help control food costs through portion control and waste management.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
