Chef de Partie (International/Arabic)

The CDP is developing excellent culinary knowledge and skills, and loves showcasing their passion for food. They are naturally curious and are always striving to improve their knowledge. The CDP can prepare and execute meals to a high level, asks lots of questions, loves researching new recipes and staying ahead of trends.

JOB LOCATION: FUJAIRAH, UAE

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-4-year culinary degree or equivalent formal culinary training
• Strong knowledge of cooking philosophies and principles
• Level 2 - Food Hygiene & Safety
• Level 2 – Allergy Awareness
• Level 2 – HACCP
• Safe Chemical Handling
• 6+ years’ experience working as a Chef de Partie in a professional establishment.
• Experienced in working as a Private Chef for VVIP clients highly regarded

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Provide menus and cuisine to Arabic and/or International First-Class Standard
• Preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food for all meal services
• Understanding of Arabic and/or Western cuisines – Italian, British, French, Spanish, and as well understanding of American-Latin and Asian Cuisines
• Manages the quality of raw or cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
• Manages sanitation practices and ensures cleanliness and hygiene meets standards and regulations
• Check the quantity and quality of received products
• Plan and develop recipes or menus, taking into account such factors as seasonal availability of ingredients and produce.
• Adjusts meals and menu’s according to personal preferences
• Maintains recipe book of favorite dishes for the family
• Has understanding about different dietary requirements – Lactose free, dairy free, gluten free.
