Chef (Production & On-Site)

Join a team that creates exciting, fresh menus for corporate & private clients at renowned venues across Brisbane & beyond. This position involves two key components: onsite catering & in our production kitchen.

Overview of Role Duties & Requirements:

1. Assist with the preparation of menu items in the lead up to events.
2. Collaborate with our kitchen team to ensure food is of the highest quality & delivered on time.
3. Actively involved in delivering exceptional catering experiences onsite at events, ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions, including but not limited to: setup & pack down, customer-facing work environments, adaptable service timing & clear communication with Onsite Event Managers & other FOH staff.
4. Enforce Company Health, Safety and Security Procedures.
5. Contribute to the overall efficiency & quality control of our kitchen.
6. Support the growth of our Express Catering division by contributing to the development of new offerings & sharing innovative ideas.
7. Hold an Australian Open Driver's Licence.
8. Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role around high-end catering, dining restaurants, hotels, functions or events.
9. Possess food hygiene training & accreditation.
10. Have a passion for innovative, incredibly-presented food.
11. Experience preparing a range of culinary styles & cuisines suited for a variety of event styles.
12. Be hardworking & hospitable towards all staff & guests.
13. Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills.
14. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook, flexibility & professional manner.
15. Be a motivated team player that is comfortable taking on delegated responsibility.
16. Have exceptional knowledge of current food & catering trends.
17. Be hardworking, physically fit and reliable.
18. Maintain immaculate personal presentation.
