
Main Function of the job
The creation and reviewing of specific formulations for cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality to the highest standard and within specification.
Key Duties:
These duties, which may be altered from time to time, are to carry out, under direction of the Manager, and include:
- Develop recipes for product and process improvement
- Write and present technical reports to stakeholders; ensured regulatory compliance and performance metrics
- Prepare data and reports for product approvals
- Check specification of in-coming materials.
- Liaise with E.P.A., carry out required checks, and maintain records to ensure conformity with conditions of licence.
- Liaise with Management and the Health & Safety department to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support all aspects of Quality Assurance including on line sampling routines and maintaining and updating Standards.
· Reporting maintenance issues in a timely manner
· Ensuring the highest Quality standard is maintained
· Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Essential
Education/Qualifications:
3rd level qualification in a Polymer / Chemical Engineering discipline
Knowledge/Experience:
2 years previous experience of working with polymer products and quality standards in a laboratory
Commitment to health & safety at work
Highly computer literate and familiar with report writing and a number of Computer packages
Skills/Personal requirements:
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Good time keeping and punctuality
Effective planning and good organisational skills
Practical expertise in PU formulation development desirable

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
