Position: Chemist

Location: Indianapolis IN

Pay Rate: $25-$28/hour

Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in sample receiving, weighing, extraction, and processing for regulatory studies
• Perform solution preparation, aliquot ting, and equipment maintenance
• Operate lab instruments: balances, Geno grinders, centrifuges, HPLC, GC, LC-MS/MS
• Use LIMS and automated liquid handlers daily
• Follow GLP standards, maintain accurate records, and ensure data integrity
• Support lab operations: consumable ordering, sample shipments, routine maintenance
• Required Qualifications:
• Associate Degree in Chemistry or related field (BS preferred).
• General knowledge of mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography, and related software.
• Experience in instrument maintenance in a regulated, time-sensitive environment.

Required Qualifications:

• AS or BS in Chemistry (new grads welcome)
• General knowledge of analytical chemistry and lab techniques
• Comfortable with computers and lab instrumentation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
