Chief Accountant / Главный бухгалтер (Russian speaker)

We are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant with deep knowledge of UAE financial regulations and VAT. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate reporting, efficient budgeting, and full compliance across all accounting processes.

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Budgeting

• Perform monthly budgeting and budget vs. actual analysis.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (VAT, P&L, balance sheet).
• Transfer monthly accounting data to the outsourced accounting company.
• Prepare documentation for the annual audit .

Banking & Payments

• Approve payments in the banking system.
• Handle bank inquiries and requests.
• Communicate with banks and payment systems.
• Provide bank statements and balance confirmations to the Management Company.
• Execute payments upon Management Company request.

Tax & Compliance

• Control and monitor VAT-exempt transactions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting and tax regulations.

Payroll & Internal Operations

• Calculate monthly payroll, prepare files, and process salary payments.
• Reconcile accounts with suppliers.

Administrative Duties

• Support audit processes and provide required documentation.
• Complete administrative tasks as requested by management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (1C) and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to details and accuracy.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Russian - C1; English - B2.
