Scope and General Purpose of Job:

To submit reports to the Director of Engineering on the condition of the building and equipment. To be responsible for the activity of workers, repair and maintenance of achinery, general equipment, building, interiors and exteriors, roads, paths car parks, drainage and water systems and water storage indoors and outdoors.
Main Duties:

Ensure the smooth running order of all equipment and the efficient operation of the building.
Carry out the assigned duties in order to accomplish the work requested on repair and maintenance orders as well as on work requests for building and constructing.
Request supplies and spare parts needed.
Assist in performing a preventive maintenance program and to carry out this program.
Maintain equipment and tools in good order.
Assist in performing emergency work regarding fire, water electricity and others.
Conduct himself in a manner as to encourage fellow employees to do like wise.
Keep the working area clean and neat.
Be always efficient, courteous and pleasant and to show at all times a helpful attitude and never to talk in a loud voice to other employees.
Prepare estimates of cost before obtaining authorization to do the job.
Assist in the implementation of fire prevention and evacuation procedures for guest and staff.
Implement programs for employees training that will result in better productivity and better work.
Continually work with the employees under his supervision in order to improve and maintain the highest stand of department operation.
Supervise and to coordinate the activities of workers and to control expenses.
Install and ensure functioning of clocks and security devices such as fire alarms, sprinkler system... etc.
Report and advise the Director of Engineering regularly on conditions of building and equipment.
The Employee shall adhere to all the standards of the department, including uniform & grooming standards.
The Employee shall not at any time during the term of this agreement or thereafter disclose to any person any information related to the affairs of the Employer or any of its customers
