Responsibilities
- Overseeing the company's financial management by developing and implementing financial and investment policies and plans, ensuring the efficient use of financial resources, and supporting the Board of Directors and executive management in making strategic decisions that enhance shareholder value and sustainable growth.
- Preparing the long- and short-term financial plan in line with the company's strategic objectives.
- Providing financial recommendations to the Board of Directors and executive management to support investment decisions.
- Managing cash flows and ensuring the availability of the necessary liquidity to cover obligations.
- Overseeing financing and borrowing plans and managing relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Overseeing the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial reports in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Ensuring the accuracy and transparency of financial statements and compliance with the requirements of the Capital Market Authority and regulatory authorities.
- Developing financial risk management policies (exchange rate, interest, investments, etc.).
- Contributing to strengthening corporate governance and compliance with disclosure and transparency regulations.
- Monitoring tax, zakat, and government fees obligations and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Coordinating with legal advisors and external auditors.
- Leading and developing teams in the finance and accounting departments.
- Overseeing ERP and financial systems to ensure efficiency and digital transformation.
- Reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Board of Directors, and collaborates with other executive departments (Legal, Operations, Human Resources, Information Technology, Investor Relations).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a Master's in Finance or Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA.
- At least 10-15 years of experience in financial management, including 5 years in a leadership position (in joint-stock or listed companies).
- Highly knowledgeable of Saudi regulations (Capital Market Authority, Zakat and Tax) and international IFRS standards.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic decision-making skills.
