Description

We’re the top family beach portrait company on the Big Island with $700k revenue in 2025. There are two parts of the business: Luau Entry Photography & Beach Portrait Sessions. Luau pays the bills so that Beach Portrait Sessions can be the profit driver.

The next steps: Perfect the model on Big Island, fill the calendar, then copy paste to Oahu, Maui, & Kauai. Become the undisputed state-wide champions of capturing family memories.


This role is built for
one specific person:

You have already:
  • Scaled a destination-based service business (photography, tours, weddings, activities, etc.) to multi-7-figure profitably.
  • Mastered organic, high-converting marketing in a tourist/destination market (Instagram reels that book shoots, SEO that ranks #1, Pinterest flywheels, TikTok, referral systems, etc.)
  • Won contracts with strategic partners over entrenched competition - Can you walk into a Four Seasons, The Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, Ritz-Carlton, Andaz, or The Grand Wailea, get past the gatekeepers, and take contracts from our largest competitor?
  • Expanded geographically without destroying profits.

What You’ll Own
  • Full P&L
  • Multi-island expansion roadmap and execution
  • Landing (and renewing) luxury resort partnerships on every island
  • Building an organic marketing machine supplemented by paid ads. Fill that calendar!
  • Hiring, training, and quality control.

The Comp Plan

  • Start: $48,000 base (lean on purpose. You’re here to build wealth, not collect a paycheck)
  • Permanent salary increases to $65k $75 $90k $105k
  • $125k when we hit $1M / $2M / $3M / $4M / $5M revenue, as long as EBITDA targets are also met.
  • Up to $75k/year performance bonuses
  • You earn real equity up to a 10% Cap as we hit revenue + EBITDA milestones together.
  • 4-year vesting, 1-year cliff per tranche.
  • If we fall below EBITDA targets for 12 straight months salary freeze, bonuses stop, no new equity until fixed.

You get wealthy if the business grows significantly and remains profitable.


The Realistic Upside

Landing resort contracts + organic marketing playbook while keeping EBITDA targets, and you’ll hit: $125k base + $75k performance bonus + 10% equity.
