Chief Legal Officer

The Chief Legal Officer will lead the global legal and regulatory strategy of this tech business. This role will provide strategic counsel to the executive team and oversee risk, compliance, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead all legal matters across global operations including corporate, regulatory, contractual, and intellectual property.
• Provide strategic guidance on regulatory compliance in fintech markets.
• Partner with regulators, advisors, and external counsel to ensure the company’s interests are protected.
• Oversee contract negotiation and management with clients and partners.
• Establish governance structures and ensure adherence to corporate policies.
• Manage risk exposure and advise the executive team on potential legal implications of business decisions.

Requirements

• 12+ years of legal leadership experience in technology or software companies..
• Strong track record of working with regulators and managing complex legal structures across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent judgment, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Law degree from a recognized institution; admission to practice in a relevant jurisdiction required.
