Position Summary

This Chief of Staff position supports a high-profile female principal across family office functions, political activities, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is a fast-moving, highly proactive operator who thrives in complex environments and can translate vision into actionable execution with little oversight. This is a high-impact, fast-paced role where you will drive major projects, oversee personal and operational workflows, and act as the principal’s central point of coordination across political, business, and personal spheres.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute major initiatives (construction, real estate, philanthropy, events), managing vendors, timelines, and end-to-end project progress.
  • Handle daily family office operations, including calendar management, travel planning, document handling, and coordination with attorneys, bankers, and property managers.
  • Conduct policy and issue research; prepare concise summaries and actionable recommendations.
  • Support political operations by managing schedules, preparing meeting materials, coordinating campaign events/fundraisers, and liaising with campaign teams and consultants.
  • Provide high-level executive support: manage communications, draft correspondence, and prepare agendas, memos, and briefing documents.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the principal and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and seamless communication.
  • Anticipate needs, resolve issues quickly, and keep projects advancing under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of senior-level executive support, operations, or project management experience.
  • Background working with HNW principals, family offices, political organizations, or campaign environments strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Political Science, Communications, or a related field.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Comfortable operating in demanding, high-pressure environments; proactive and able to exercise sound judgment independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong relationship-building abilities.
  • Highly tech-savvy with strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable with direct communication and rapid decision-making.
  • Willingness to work some evenings/weekends and travel as needed.

Preferred Experience

  • Political campaign or government work experience.
  • Prior experience in family office, private household, or UHNW support roles.
  • Project management credentials (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
