Compensation: $120,000–$150,000 + PTO, sick days, healthcare stipend
Position Summary
This Chief of Staff position supports a high-profile female principal across family office functions, political activities, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is a fast-moving, highly proactive operator who thrives in complex environments and can translate vision into actionable execution with little oversight. This is a high-impact, fast-paced role where you will drive major projects, oversee personal and operational workflows, and act as the principal’s central point of coordination across political, business, and personal spheres.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute major initiatives (construction, real estate, philanthropy, events), managing vendors, timelines, and end-to-end project progress.
- Handle daily family office operations, including calendar management, travel planning, document handling, and coordination with attorneys, bankers, and property managers.
- Conduct policy and issue research; prepare concise summaries and actionable recommendations.
- Support political operations by managing schedules, preparing meeting materials, coordinating campaign events/fundraisers, and liaising with campaign teams and consultants.
- Provide high-level executive support: manage communications, draft correspondence, and prepare agendas, memos, and briefing documents.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the principal and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and seamless communication.
- Anticipate needs, resolve issues quickly, and keep projects advancing under tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of senior-level executive support, operations, or project management experience.
- Background working with HNW principals, family offices, political organizations, or campaign environments strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Political Science, Communications, or a related field.
- Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Comfortable operating in demanding, high-pressure environments; proactive and able to exercise sound judgment independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong relationship-building abilities.
- Highly tech-savvy with strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
- Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable with direct communication and rapid decision-making.
- Willingness to work some evenings/weekends and travel as needed.
Preferred Experience
- Political campaign or government work experience.
- Prior experience in family office, private household, or UHNW support roles.
- Project management credentials (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
