This job opening affords the successful candidate the opportunity to work directly with Tiburon’s managing partner on the firm’s most pressing priorities and firm-level issues. The job is extremely fast paced and appropriate only for candidates who can efficiently research issues, document learnings, analyze results, and make recommendations. This is primarily an in-office role but the firm may be able to accommodate time constraints of parents, students, and others.

The successful job candidate will:

  • Execute daily tactical service, sales, & marketing activities (e.g., Tiburon member email interactions (such as evaluating title eligibility of potential Tiburon CEO Summit attendees), minor website edits, etc)
  • Manage preparatory & onsite aspects of semi-annual Tiburon CEO Summits (e.g., registration & feedback surveys administration & analysis, desk staff, name badges, AV coordination, etc)
  • Manage annual charitable activity (building homes for the poor in Mexico) (e.g., manage participant registrations, etc)
  • Complete various business management analyses (e.g., CPA firm choice, insurance renewals, etc), revise PowerPoint business plan to reflect such, and make recommendations.
  • Manage new employee recruiting and onboarding (e.g., job postings, interview schedules, etc)
  • Manage office technology infrastructure (e.g., ordering & setting up new equipment, troubleshooting issues, etc)
  • Manage office efficiency (e.g., employee payroll, establishing new email accounts, retrieving & processing mail, ordering supplies, etc.)
  • Analyze and eventually kick start a wide variety of new marketing initiatives (e.g., branding, website rebuild, social media, media relations, etc), working with managing partner
  • Serve as a sense of maturity and a steady in office presence daily.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
