Chief Trial Attorney

The 22nd Judicial Circuit Court-Juvenile Division seeks applicants for the Chief Trial Attorney. Must possess a Juris Doctor or Bachelor of Law degree from an accredited law school program and be a member of the Missouri Bar Association in good standing. One to three years of supervisor experience of a professional staff with increasing responsibility is preferred. Thorough knowledge of the Juvenile Code, criminal law and the Missouri Supreme Court Rules. Cases may involve delinquency, care and protection. Termination of Parental Rights, adoption or certification issues. Thorough knowledge of trial practices in Juvenile Law. Good interviewing and writing skills are required. Considerable knowledge of general supervisory practices. Considerable skills in communicating effectively, both verbal and in writing. Salary range $94,770 - $148,096.
