Infant Teacher – Job Description

The Infant Lead Teacher provides a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants while fostering strong relationships with both children and families. This role includes creating and implementing curriculum plans that support emotional, physical, and cognitive development, as well as maintaining a clean, organized classroom in accordance with Ivy Kids standards and Texas Minimum Standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and delivering age-appropriate lesson plans using MultiPrep curriculum
• Practicing Conscious Discipline and responsive caregiving
• Maintaining accurate developmental records and completing ASQ assessments
• Communicating regularly with parents through daily reports, updates, and conferences
• Supervising assistant teachers and supporting professional growth
• Upholding health, safety, and licensing standards
• Participating in ongoing training and center events

Qualifications:

• CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a licensed child care setting
• Ability to lift and carry infants, move quickly, and respond to children’s needs
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Toddler Lead Teacher – Job Description

The Toddler Twos Lead Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. This role requires modeling and practicing Conscious Discipline techniques, overseeing hygiene and care routines, and maintaining a safe, engaging classroom environment in alignment with Ivy Kids standards and Texas Minimum Standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing MultiPrep curriculum and lesson plans
• Conducting timely child assessments (ASQs) and maintaining development records
• Communicating regularly with parents through reports, updates, and conferences
• Supervising and mentoring assistant teachers in the classroom
• Ensuring a clean, organized, and safe classroom at all times
• Participating in staff training, center events, and regulatory compliance
• Supporting potty training and promoting positive guidance practices

Qualifications:

• CDA, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
• At least 2 years of experience in early childhood education
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain active engagement with young children
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain)

Preschool Pre-K Teacher – Job Description

The Preschool/PreK Lead Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate, engaging curriculum that supports the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth of children. This role requires modeling and practicing Conscious Discipline, maintaining a safe and clean learning environment, supervising assistant teachers, and building strong communication with families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans using the MultiPrep curriculum.
• Model and apply Conscious Discipline and positive guidance techniques.
• Maintain accurate records, assessments, and developmental checklists.
• Communicate daily with families and provide regular child updates via Procare.
• Establish and maintain a stimulating classroom environment.
• Mentor assistant teachers and assist in staff training.
• Monitor and support children’s health and safety through daily routines and emergency preparedness.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and center events.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in early childhood education.
• CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical activities with children.
• Completion of at least 24 hours of annual training and CPR/First Aid certification.
