Child Care Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. This role is essential in providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education and a strong understanding of child development principles. You will be responsible for fostering a positive learning atmosphere that encourages creativity, curiosity, and growth among children.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development.
• Create a safe and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
• Facilitate activities that support physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom space.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Provide care for children with special needs or disabilities as required.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education, preferably in a preschool or toddler care setting.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in education.
• First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children are essential qualities for this role.
• Previous experience as a nanny or in other childcare roles is advantageous.
