Chocolatier

Summary

The Chocolatier is responsible for creating high-quality chocolate products, including pralines, bonbons, truffles, ganache fillings, molded chocolates, and decorative chocolate work. The role involves hands-on production, recipe execution, tempering, quality control, and maintaining hygiene and consistency across all chocolate items.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, temper, and mold chocolate using professional techniques.

Create chocolate pralines, truffles, bars, ganache, coatings, and seasonal items.

Maintain consistent quality, taste, texture, and presentation of all chocolate products.

Follow recipes, portioning standards, and production schedules.

Decorate and finish chocolate items for retail display or special orders.

Monitor stock levels of chocolate, ingredients, molds, and tools.

Ensure strict hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness of the chocolate production area.

Assist with packaging, labeling, and storage according to standards.

Support new product development and seasonal chocolate collections.

Work with the team to meet daily production targets.

Skills & Requirements

Experience in chocolate making, tempering, and dessert preparation.

Knowledge of couverture, ganache, fillings, and chocolate decoration.

Strong attention to detail, creativity, and precision.

Basic knowledge of HACCP/Food Safety standards.

Ability to work cleanly, efficiently, and in a fast-paced environment
