Job Title: CHW Technician

Location: Dubai

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor construction sites for confined spaces, hazardous materials, and airborne contaminants.
• Conduct pre-entry checks for confined spaces (tanks, tunnels, trenches).
• Test air quality (oxygen levels, toxic gases, flammability) using gas detectors.
• Ensure proper use of respirators, harnesses, ventilation systems, and other safety gear.
• Inspect and maintain fall protection, retrieval systems, and emergency equipment.
• Enforce OSHA, NIOSH, and company safety standards for high-risk work.
• Document safety violations and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in incident investigations and reporting.
• Conduct toolbox talks on confined space safety, heat stress, and respiratory protection.
• Train workers on emergency rescue procedures for hazardous environments.
• Participate in emergency drills (rescue simulations, evacuation plans).
• Promote hydration, fatigue management, and ergonomic best practices.
• Assist with on-site medical response (first aid, heat illness prevention).

Requirements:

• High school diploma (required); OSHA 30, Confined Space Entry Certification, or Construction Safety Technician (CST) preferred.
• Knowledge of gas detection systems, ventilation, and lockout/tagout (LOTO).
• Familiarity with PPE fit-testing and respiratory protection programs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
