Swingtech is seeking a Cisco Engineer with Cloud Experience to support the design, configuration, and optimization of enterprise network and hybrid cloud environments. The engineer will play a key role in implementing secure, scalable solutions that integrate traditional network infrastructure with modern cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure.
This position requires a blend of network engineering, cloud architecture, and systems integration skills, along with strong troubleshooting and collaboration abilities. The engineer will work closely with stakeholders, system administrators, and security teams to ensure reliable connectivity, performance, and compliance across all environments.

Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

Implement and manage secure hybrid network connectivity between on-premises environments and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

Configure Cisco ASA, Firepower, and Nexus devices; manage VLANs, routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF), and QoS policies.

Deploy and optimize cloud-based networking components such as AWS Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and Azure Virtual Networks.

Support cloud integration, identity management, and secure access solutions using Cisco ISE, Duo, or related technologies.

Monitor network performance and implement tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, or Cisco Prime for proactive issue detection and resolution.

Collaborate with systems engineers and cybersecurity teams to ensure network compliance with NIST, FISMA, and Zero Trust standards.

Participate in planning, testing, and execution of network modernization and migration projects.

Develop network documentation including topology diagrams, configuration templates, and change management records.

Provide Tier-3 technical support for escalated network and cloud connectivity issues.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Minimum 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Cisco network engineering, including LAN/WAN, routing, and switching.

Experience implementing or managing cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or equivalent).

Proficiency with Cisco IOS, NX-OS, and network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, NetFlow, etc.).

Experience with network security concepts including VPNs, firewalls, and access control policies.

Familiarity with automation/scripting tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform) is highly desirable.

Understanding of NIST 800-53, RMF, or other federal security frameworks.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
