Civil Construction Estimator

Assist in analyzing incoming bid opportunities to determine effort and worthiness of bid preparation. Attend pre-bid meetings, preparation of bids, understanding of plans, specifications, addenda and other bid documents required to complete an accurate bid and proposal. Perform plan take-offs for review and accuracy. Evaluate constructability issues during the proposal preparation process. Procure subcontract and material quotes as well as perform a review of each for conformance with project specifications. Assist in pricing and final submission of bid documents.

Experience with HCSS is preferred but not required.

Develop and maintain a positive attitude and good working relationships with customers, employees and the public. Perform all duties consistent with the Company Mission Statement and the Efficient Developments philosophy.

Required:

Strong mathematical thought process and sound judgement and attention to detail.

Preferred but not mandatory one or more of the following:

2- year Associates or 4- year Bachelor
