Civil Defense Litigation Attorney

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Civil Defense Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote and office work, with opportunities to engage directly with clients and courtroom advocacy. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of civil defense litigation experience and a strong passion for delivering top-quality legal representation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage significant case responsibilities including drafting legal briefs, pleadings, and motions.
• Handle discovery processes such as written discovery requests and responses.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Effectively appear and advocate in court hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Collaborate closely with partners and legal teams, contributing to trial preparation and case strategy.
• Maintain high-quality client relationships through clear communication and case updates.
• Meet multiple deadlines and multitask efficiently under pressure to manage a diverse caseload.

Qualifications:

• Active California Bar License required.
• Minimum 1 year civil defense litigation experience, with proven skills drafting pleadings, motion practice, depositions, discovery management, and case oversight.
• Experience with California Warranty Law, including the Song-Beverly Act and related statutes, preferred but not required.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and advocacy abilities.
• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
• Demonstrated record of producing high-quality legal work with excellent client service.
• Self-starter with proactive ownership mentality and strong initiative in resolving legal matters.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
