Position: Civil Engineer

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to manage day-to-day civil execution at industrial and commercial sites (greenfield and brownfield projects). The role involves coordinating MEP (Electrical & Plumbing) and interior finishing works to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and quality project delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong planning, contractor management, documentation, and EHS compliance skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning & Scheduling: Convert IFC drawings into weekly look-ahead plans, quantities, and resource needs. Track progress against baseline and prepare daily progress reports (DPRs).
- Site Execution (Civil): Handle foundations, pedestals, trenches, drains, roads, structural, and architectural works at site.
- MEP & Interiors Coordination: Sequence civil, MEP, and interior activities. Coordinate with teams for electrical (panels, trays, earthing, lighting), plumbing (supply, drainage, hydro tests), and interiors (flooring, ceiling, partitions, finishes).
- Contractor Management: Supervise 3–6 subcontractors simultaneously for scope, mobilization, productivity, and QA/QC compliance.
- Quality Control: Conduct rebar, formwork, and finish checks. Manage WIR/MIR, cube testing, snag lists, and punch-point closures.
- EHS Compliance: Enforce safety measures including PTW, barricading, PPE, lifting plans, and hot-work permits. Ensure zero incident reporting and close-outs.
- Commercial & Materials: Manage indents, material reconciliation, RA measurements, and bill certification with QS/PM teams.
- Stakeholder Interface: Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal electrical/mechanical teams for seamless project handover.
Must-Have Skills:
- 3–5 years of industrial civil execution experience with MEP and interior coordination.
- Detail-oriented with proficiency in reading drawings, managing levels, and ensuring finish quality.
- Working knowledge of IS/IEC/NBC standards and testing protocols (IR/Megger, hydro, lux, earthing).
- Tools: AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera (basics), Excel/Sheets; experience with total station/laser level preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with clients, consultants, and site teams.
Qualifications:
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Diploma with strong field experience also considered).
- Certifications: OSHA/NEBOSH basics, First Aid, or Work-at-Height certification preferred. Epoxy/waterproofing OEM training is a plus.
