Civil Litigation Attorney

Winthrop Law Group, PC is a boutique firm located in Newport Beach looking to hire a highly motivated litigation attorney preferably with insurance coverage, personal injury, and/or business litigation experience able to handle all aspects of litigation from intake through trial. Trial experience is not required. This position will provide an opportunity to work independently, while providing a collaborative environment to grow all skills as a lawyer. The firm focuses on plaintiff's side litigation.

The Opportunity

The Firm takes on the largest law firms in fighting for individual rights. Attorneys are expected to take significant responsibility in litigating their own docket of cases while at the same time honing their skills through mentorship by our attorneys.

Accountable for

• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Develop strategies to litigate matters in state and federal courts.
• Take responsibility in being part of a litigation team representing clients in depositions, motion hearings, and mediations.
• Develop persuasive research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Superior analytical and legal research skills.
• Excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate persuasively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to exercise common sense in complex situations.
• Adaptable and meticulous attention to detail.

Compensation

• Compensation range based on experience: $150,000 - $250,000 plus performance based incentives
