Civil / Mechanical Engineer

A Facade Engineer is responsible for the design, engineering, and implementation of building facades, ensuring they are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and efficient. On a day-to-day basis, the Facade Engineer collaborates with architects and construction teams to develop facade systems that meet both design intent and performance criteria. This involves conducting structural analyses, selecting appropriate materials, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and local regulations. They also perform site inspections to monitor construction progress and verify that the facade is being built according to specifications.

In managing specific tasks, the Facade Engineer interacts closely with various stakeholders, including project managers, contractors, and clients, to discuss project requirements, timelines, and budget constraints. They oversee operations by coordinating with construction teams to resolve any issues that arise during the installation process, ensuring that the project stays on track. Additionally, they may adjust store layouts for commercial properties to enhance visual appeal or functionality, manage staff schedules when overseeing larger teams, and handle any customer complaints related to facade performance or maintenance.

Key activities unique to the role include conducting energy performance assessments, thermal analysis, and durability testing of facade materials. Facade Engineers often engage in research and development to innovate new facade technologies that improve building efficiency and sustainability. They also prepare detailed documentation and reports to communicate design decisions and project outcomes to clients and stakeholders, ensuring that all aspects of the facade design are thoroughly understood and implemented.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
