Civil MEP Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Civil MEP Engineer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing MEP systems for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. MEP System Design: Design and develop MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

2. Project Planning: Assist with project planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.

3. Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure MEP systems are integrated with other building systems.

4. Site Visits: Conduct site visits to monitor MEP system installation and ensure compliance with design specifications.

5. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot MEP system issues and provide solutions to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.

6. Documentation: Prepare and maintain MEP system documentation, including designs, specifications, and as-built drawings.

7. Code Compliance: Ensure MEP system designs comply with local building codes and regulations.

Requirements:

1. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

2. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in MEP engineering, preferably in the construction industry.

3. Certifications: Professional certifications, such as PE or LEED AP, preferred.

4. Skills: Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including design principles, codes, and regulations. Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and other MEP design software.

5. Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
