- Oversee and manage construction projects on-site, including day-to-day activities.
- Plan and schedule construction activities, coordinating labor, materials, and equipment.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure the project is completed on time and within cost constraints.
- Review blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and adherence to design.
Site supervision and quality control
- Supervise and direct all on-site construction activities to ensure they are performed safely and correctly.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to verify that construction meets required standards.
- Perform site surveys and set out the site according to the design.
- Ensure that materials used are of high quality and meet industry standards.
Communication and coordination
- Act as the main point of contact between the construction team and other stakeholders, such as clients, architects, and subcontractors.
- Liaise with suppliers, local authorities, and other professionals.
- Provide technical advice and solutions to problems that arise on-site.
Documentation and reporting
- Prepare and submit progress reports, daily logs, and other required documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of all site-related documents, including spreadsheets, drawings, and photographs.
- Complete and submit technical files and other documentation as required.
Safety and compliance
- Ensure that all activities comply with health and safety regulations, sustainability policies, and legal guidelines.
- Identify and mitigate potential hazards on the site.
- Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with all regulations.
