Civil Technologist - Drawing Section

Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO), an integrated energy conglomerate, is a Joint Venture between the Government of Pakistan and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Qualifications and Competencies:

• DAE or B. Tech in Civil Technology or equivalent from a recognized institute.
• Certification in AutoCAD and related drafting software.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D drafting, including schematic drawings, line diagrams, piping isometrics, and general layouts.
• Competent in managing technical data in both digital and physical formats.
• Awareness of HSEQ standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Google Maps, and MS Office with experience in creating and converting KMZ and DWG files.
• Practical exposure in as-built drawings, site visits, and design documentation.

Experience: Up to 12 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

• The candidate should be able to monitor, supervise, and verify civil repair and maintenance work along the pipeline corridor in the assigned region.
• Prepare drawings using AutoCAD or related software for bid, construction, and as-built works across civil, electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation disciplines.
• Conduct site visits to gather field data for new modifications or developments.
• Back up drawings and technical data as per IMS procedures.
• Develop draft design options for new or low-budget civil projects.
• Maintain and update the Technical Library and distribute manuals to relevant departments.
• Assist Drawing Office senior with drafting and IMS-related assignments.
• Check and perform ongoing jobs as per received requisitions.
• Maintain and update drawings, technical data records, and IMS documentation in accordance with IMS requirements.
• Convert drawings into digital formats such as PDF, WMF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, etc.
• Implement and maintain drawing record systems (hard & soft copies).
• Respond promptly to emergency jobs and special assignments.
