Job Responsibilities:

· Supervise and certify materials testing (e.g., concrete, soil, asphalt, aggregates, steel) in compliance with ASTM, BS, AASHTO, or other relevant standards.

· Review and sign off on test reports to ensure accuracy and maintain professional responsibility.

· Interpret test results and provide engineering recommendations.

· Maintain and develop quality control programs in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 (testing lab accreditation).

· Train and supervise lab technicians and junior engineers in standard testing procedures.

· Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and use of lab equipment.

· Conduct site visits when required for field sampling and inspection.

· Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies regarding test findings and compliance matters.

· Provide engineering input in R&D, materials investigation, and failure analysis when required.
