Role Overview: Personal Branding Associate / Client Strategy Coordinator
This is a rare opportunity for an early-career professional to step into a front row seat with some of the world’s most influential executives.
In this role, you will support our Executive Advisor, Brand Strategy, to deliver best-in-class personal branding services to senior executives across industries. You’ll prepare for and support high-impact client engagements, help shape thought leadership strategies, and learn what world-class executive communication looks like from the inside.
In addition to supporting the Personal Branding practice, you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across Banff including the client operations, product, and tech teams, giving you exposure to how a high-growth, entrepreneurial advisory firm runs behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities
Client Support & Operations

Prepare for client strategy sessions by conducting LinkedIn audits, competitive scans, and audience research

Track client deliverables and deadlines, ensuring follow-ups and accountability

Manage ongoing client check-ins, monitor engagement, and flag speaking/media opportunities

Identify opportunities to improve processes and build new operational systems that strengthen how the Personal Branding function, and the broader client operations function, work.
Content & Marketing

Draft initial content ideas, build content calendars, and assemble inspiration examples for review

Assist with Banff Advisors’ LinkedIn presence, including scheduling, analytics, and brand voice alignment

Help develop scalable offerings (workshops, brand audits, digital resource hubs) by managing content banks and industry example libraries
Research & Insights

Track industry trends, social media platform updates, and thought leadership best practices

Compile insights and examples to strengthen client strategies and keep Banff’s offerings competitive and at the forefront of executive visibility
Qualifications
Must-Have:
-
1-3 years of experience in project management, operations, client services, or executive support

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines

Demonstrated ability as a systems-thinker and builder — someone who has created or improved processes, tools, or workflows, even at a small scale

Comfort with technology and product tools, and an eagerness to learn and adapt to new systems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional-level writing ability (writing sample required) - but what’s more, you’re an incredible listener, and people know that about you.

Proficiency with LinkedIn as a platform and a strong understanding of its role in executive visibility and thought leadership

Confidence in client-facing settings, including with C-suite executives

Flexibility in scheduling, as our clients are around the world - They are extremely respectful of schedules, but sometimes a call may happen early in the morning or late in the evening.
Nice-to-Have:

Experience in brand, marketing, or communications roles

Familiarity with managing social media accounts, analytics tools, or CRM platforms

Background in executive communications, professional services, or agency environments

Experience with Slack, Notion, Canva, Photoshop and Google Suite a big plus

While the role is remote, we highly prefer candidates based in New York Metro or San Francisco Bay Areas
