Clinical Assistant/Medical Assistant/LPN - Dermatology

Integra Dermatology is a private dermatology practice located in Savage and Edina, Minnesota that provides medical, surgical, and cosmetic care to patients of all ages. We are seeking motivated applicants who are detail-oriented and eager to learn. Because dermatology is a fast paced environment, ideal applicants should be able to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team. This job is ideal for college graduates who are taking one or more gap years before continuing onto further schooling (such as medical school or physician associate program) and are looking for direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities Include:

• Room patients, review medical history, and compile/present a chief complaint
• Record visit note using our electronic medical records software, EMA
• Prep for and assist the provider with medical, surgical, and cosmetic procedures including excisions, Mohs surgeries, biopsies, etc.
• Perform clinical duties such as phlebotomy, wound care, suture removal, phototherapy, placing PPD tests, etc.
• Process Specimens and order tests, as directed by the physician
• Restock rooms, sterilize instruments, and turn over rooms in between visits
• Educate patients of the risks/benefits of procedures as listed on our consent forms and provide patients with appropriate after care instructions

Qualifications:

• Scribing Experience (Preferred)
• Clinical Experience (Preferred)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, No Weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
