Dr. Ciara Freeman at the esteemed Moffitt Cancer Center is on the lookout for a talented Clinical Data Engineer with expertise in crafting Snowflake pipelines. Join us in pioneering the next generation of regulatory-grade AI models in oncology—your expertise will be crucial in building the foundation of a groundbreaking translational AI program that transforms discoveries into meaningful patient impacts. Ideal Candidate:

  • 3–5+ years building production-grade data pipelines in healthcare or biotech.
  • Strong SQL + Python skills; SnowPro Core cert a plus.
  • Thrive in small, impact-focused teams.
  • Experience with healthcare data (EMR, lab, imaging, omics) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain Snowflake pipelines powering real-time research and model training.
  • Automate ETL/ELT workflows (dbt, Airflow, etc.).
  • Implement data lineage, QC, and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to ensure modeling readiness and regulatory compliance.

Credentials & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Informatics, or a related quantitative field with five (5) years building data pipelines in production environments (healthcare or biotech preferred).
    • Or Master’s degree with three (3) years building data pipelines in production environments (healthcare or biotech preferred).
  • Snowflake certification (SnowPro Core or Advanced) preferred.
