Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing complex laboratory tests, managing specimen processing, and ensuring accurate data analysis to support clinical diagnostics and research initiatives. This role requires a strong foundation in laboratory techniques, extensive knowledge of medical terminology, and experience with various assays and instrumentation. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist will play a vital role in maintaining laboratory quality standards, adhering to safety protocols, and contributing to clinical trials and research projects. Responsibilities

  • Manage and analyze data using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and other data analysis tools.
  • Maintain detailed records of test results, quality control measures, and instrument maintenance logs.
  • Operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment such as chemistry analyzers and hematology equipment
  • Ensure compliance with COLA criteria to ensure sucess.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results within the context of patient physiology and medical history.
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization while adhering to regulatory standards for specimen handling and storage.

Experience

  • Proven clinical laboratory experience with a strong background in laboratory management and techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with a variety of instrumentation and testing procedures.
  • Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for data entry and reporting.
  • Experience working within hospital or clinical settings is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and blood sampling techniques such as venipuncture is essential.
  • Strong data management skills along with the ability to analyze complex datasets accurately.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team while maintaining high standards of quality assurance. This position offers an exciting opportunity for qualified professionals committed to excellence in clinical diagnostics and research innovation.

Pay: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
