Job Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to admit patients to our facility by adhering to admitting guidelines.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain admission guidelines and participate in team meetings to discuss opportunities for improvement.

Enhance organization's reputation by accepting ownership for new and different requests; explores opportunities to add value to facility and position.

Market programs and facility by preparing and providing informational brochures, writing and placing advertisements, answering questions, conducting tours, etc.

Obtain applicant information by requesting completed applications and medical information, verifying and clarifying information, interviewing patients and family members, and explaining admission criteria.

Screen patients by comparing patient's condition to admission criteria, accepting or rejecting patients based on evaluation.

Admit patients by completing admission and financial responsibility forms; coordinate and arrange physical, social, emotional, and support service requirements, including transportation.

Resolve patient/family dissatisfactions by investigating concerns; communicate with proper support team to address concerns.

Prepare admissions reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

Keep patients safe by following safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

Protect organization's reputation by keeping information confidential.
Education and Experience
-
Experience in a skilled nursing facility.
-
Work well under pressure and be comfortable with multi-tasking.

Possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism.

Possess leadership ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.

Possess good judgment and have the ability to maintain highly confidential information.

Knowledgeable of HIPAA compliance and requirements.

Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, and objectives of the department as it relates to the facility.
Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
Work Remotely
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
