About the opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator with 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing VMware, Linux and Windows environments, cloud infrastructure, and implementing automation solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining system stability, optimizing infrastructure, and driving efficiency through automation.
This role requires a balance of strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and familiarity with modern infrastructure management tools.
What you’ll get to do
  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments.
  • Manage and support cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including compute, storage, networking, and identity services.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts and workflows using Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Deploy and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
  • Ensure system availability, security, and performance monitoring using tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, or CloudWatch.
  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy in Windows environments.
  • Implement patch management, OS updates, and server hardening procedures.
  • Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Support virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and container environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to automate deployments and configuration management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for system configurations, automation scripts, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Must have a deep understanding of the Data Center Infrastructure, and Data Center Operations.
  • Must have worked of Virtualization, Cloud Computing, Business Continuality and Planning/Disaster Recovery
Skills and experience we value
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.
  • Expertise in VMware, Linux and Windows Server administration.
  • Strong experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proficiency with automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef).
  • Scripting experience in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).
  • Good understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and system security best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience with the following Technologies:
  • Virtualization: VMWare, Hyper-V,
  • Servers: Cisco Servers
  • Platform: Windows, Linux
  • Storage: SAN, NAS
  • Knowledge on O365 Products such as Outlook, SharePoint, One drive etc.
  • Ability to communicate technical and business problems in a non-technical manner - Required
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Required
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Proven ability to deliver tasks on-time and adherence to deadlines.
What would make you really stand out
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or equivalent Linux certification.
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or Azure Administrator.
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate.
  • HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.
  • CompTIA Cloud+ or Security+.
