Cloud / DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Anthos and GKE-based hybrid or multi-cloud platforms.
• Lead application migration initiatives from on-premise or other cloud environments to GCP/Anthos.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain microservices-based applications and container workloads.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows for build, deployment, and platform scalability.
• Work closely with development, operations, and cloud architecture teams to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across application, container, and cloud layers.
• Ensure best practices for security, monitoring, logging, and cost optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud / DevOps roles.
• Hands-on expertise with:
  • Anthos
  • GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)
  • Kubernetes & Container Orchestration
  • Microservices Architecture
• Strong experience in application migration or modernization projects.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD, etc.).
• Expertise with Terraform, Helm, or similar automation & IaC tools.
• Solid understanding of networking, security policies, and service mesh (Istio preferred).
• Ability to lead technical discussions and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred (Good to Have)

• Google Cloud Professional Certifications (e.g., GCP Architect / DevOps Engineer)
• Experience in service mesh architectures (Istio / Linkerd)
• Background working with Financial, Telecom, or Large Enterprise environments
