Cloud Infrastructure Designer

Position Objective:

• Cloud Infrastructure Designer with strong experience in telco-grade cloud architecture across telecom, BSS, and core network domains.
• Skilled in designing and documenting NFV/SDN-based infrastructures aligned with ETSI standards.
• Proficient in architecture design for VNFs and CNFs, ensuring resiliency and scalability. Hands-on knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker, virtualization, network/storage design, and cloud automation using IaC practices.
• Strong collaborator in cloud migration, modernization, and cost governance initiatives.
• Knowledgeable in zero-trust security principles with exposure to Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD environments.
• Growth mindset with solid technical project management capabilities.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Lead technical project management for cloud design and operational activities across Telecom Cloud, BSS Cloud, and Core Network environments, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment.
• Design and document telco-grade cloud infrastructure compliant with ETSI NFV/SDN standards, covering NFVi, VIM, and MANO layers.
• Develop logical and physical architectures for VNFs and CNFs, ensuring high availability, elasticity, and performance optimization.
• Create comprehensive high-level and low-level design documentation aligned with security-by-design, zero-trust, and data governance frameworks.
• Support network and storage virtualization technologies including SAN, NAS, SDS, and cloud-optimized access protocols.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code and automation practices using scripting/programming tools to enhance deployment efficiency.
• Collaborate on end-to-end B2C/B2B cloud solutions leveraging NFV MANO or CNF orchestration models for integration and automation.
• Support cloud migration, modernization, capacity planning, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple business units.
• Ensure solutions meet compliance, security, and reliability standards while contributing to cost and performance governance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communication Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure Design, Virtualization, Network Operations, or Telecom Cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of NFV/SDN architecture aligned with ETSI standards, including NFVi, VIM, and MANO layers.
• Proficiency in virtualization, networking, storage technologies, and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of zero-trust security principles, security-by-design frameworks, and data governance compliance.
• Exposure to Linux or network OS technologies, Agile/SCRUM, DevOps, CI/CD, and testing environments.
• Relevant certifications in Cloud, Networking, Virtualization, or DevOps are an added advantage.
