Overview
Join our dynamic clinical laboratory team as a (CLS) Clinical Laboratory Scientist - CMB, where you will play a vital role in advancing healthcare through precise laboratory testing and analysis. Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of laboratory procedures including ELISA, PCR, flow cytometry, immunoassays, RNA extraction, DNA isolation, and blood banking techniques.
- Manage and analyze complex data sets using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and other data analysis tools to ensure accurate reporting.
- Collect, process, and handle specimens with strict adherence to aseptic techniques and laboratory protocols.
- Conduct venipuncture and blood sampling procedures with precision, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain meticulous records of laboratory activities, specimen tracking, and test results in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced laboratory equipment such as CT scanners, centrifuges, and flow cytometers to optimize performance.
- Support laboratory management by ensuring adherence to safety guidelines, inventory control, and quality assurance programs.
- Collaborate with clinical teams on research laboratories or clinical trials requiring specialized assays and physiological assessments.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and blood banking principles to interpret results accurately.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist or in a similar clinical laboratory setting with hands-on expertise in laboratory procedures and techniques.
- Proficiency in data management systems, including Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), with strong data analysis skills.
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex assays such as ELISA, PCR, immunoassays, flow cytometry, RNA extraction, DNA isolation, and blood banking procedures.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols including aseptic technique and venipuncture (phlebotomy).
- Familiarity with hospital or healthcare environment operations along with medical terminology understanding.
- Experience working with clinical trials or research laboratories is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy under pressure.
