Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CMS Developer to build, customize, and maintain content management system–based websites. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of popular CMS platforms and the ability to develop themes, plugins, and modules while ensuring website performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain websites using CMS platforms (WordPress/Shopify/Drupal/Magento or others).
• Implement and modify themes, templates, and plugins/modules based on project requirements.
• Manage website content updates, layout changes, and design adjustments.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues related to performance, compatibility, and functionality.
• Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and services into websites.
• Ensure website security, SEO friendliness, and best coding practices.
• Collaborate with designers, content teams, and backend developers to deliver high-quality web solutions.
• Maintain documentation of customizations, features, and workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of at least one major CMS (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Drupal, Magento).
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic front-end frameworks.
• Good understanding of PHP, Liquid, or other CMS-related scripting languages.
• Experience working with themes, templates, and custom modules/plugins.
• Familiarity with databases (MySQL, MariaDB, etc.).
• Knowledge of SEO principles and website optimization.
• Understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Experience with WooCommerce, Shopify Apps, or Magento Extensions.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and integrations.
• Basic design understanding (Figma, Adobe XD).
• Familiarity with hosting, DNS, and website migration processes.
• Basic knowledge of security best practices and performance tuning.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar (preferred, not mandatory).
• 1–3 years of experience in CMS development (freshers with strong skills can apply).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Karachi Nazimabad: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
