Position Overview

The CNC Programmer & Estimating Specialist is responsible for programming CNC and waterjet cutting equipment, preparing project estimates, and supporting marketing documentation through sourcing and posting completed project photos and videos. This role bridges digital fabrication, production support, estimating, and brand representation.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Programming

· Create and modify CAD drawings and digital templates for stone and tile fabrication.

· Generate optimized toolpaths/G-code programs for CNC and waterjet machines.

· Ensure accuracy, consistency, and production efficiency.

Estimating & Quoting

· Review job specs and prepare detailed material and labor estimates.

· Calculate machine run-time, yield factors, and labor considerations.

· Track and revise quotes as needed.

Marketing & Project Documentation

· Source and post photos/videos of completed work for social media and website updates.

· Maintain consistent branding in digital content.

· Organize and manage project portfolio records.

Production Support

· Verify machine setups with operators to ensure correct execution.

· Troubleshoot program or cut quality concerns.

· Maintain organized file system for digital production templates.

Qualifications & Skills

· 2+ years experience in CNC or waterjet programming preferred.

· Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, Fusion 360, Mastercam, etc.).

· Ability to read/interpret shop drawings and convert into toolpaths.

· Strong attention to detail, communication, and organization.

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
