Location: Burlington, WA
Reports To: Operations Manager

Overview

Blue Seas Fabrication Northwest produces custom marine decking for boat owners throughout the Pacific Northwest. We blend craftsmanship, precision, and technology to create beautiful, durable decking solutions.

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated CNC Fabrication Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll prepare toolpaths, operate CNC routers, and ensure that every decking kit meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy. This position offers opportunities to grow your technical skills in digital fabrication and CAD while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage toolpaths for CNC routing using CAM software
  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC routers and cutting tools
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on CNC equipment
  • Handle shipping and receiving of materials and finished products
  • Manage inventory and tag materials for jobs, including remnant tracking
  • Inspect, QC, and label finished decking kits for accuracy and finish quality
  • Update Trello with fabrication and shipping details
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace aligned with Lean manufacturing principles
  • Collaborate with the design team; opportunity to learn and perform CAD work over time

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of experience in fabrication, machining, or related field
  • CNC router or milling experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles a plus
  • Forklift experience helpful
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and safety awareness
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Interest in marine fabrication and hands-on craftsmanship

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
