Job Summary
The Collections Analyst II is responsible for credit policy adherence, accounts receivable risk management and analysis in support of all areas of the business. This position supports internal staff to ensure credit and collections policies and procedures are appropriately followed, answer questions related to policy compliance, and support both pre and post payment collections efforts to reduce financial losses to the company.
Primary Responsibilities:
Verifies credit policy compliance of and completes credit and collections tasks as requested by internal staff.
Reviews open receivables for delinquency trends, specific account issues, and potential bad debt, and takes appropriate action to resolve all open items by working with our customers and business partners.
Communicate with internal and external customers related to past due balances and provide feedback for recommended actions.
Coordinate with outside collections service providers for potential and active referrals.
Develops recommendations based on company guidelines to mitigate risk for assigned customers.
Proactively monitor industry trends and company developments to assist in lowering overall delinquency.

Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting and/or equivalent knowledge or experience.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounts in a commercial credit or collections environment preferred.
Understanding of bad debt accounting and collection.

Salary Range:
