Job Summary
The Communications and Multimedia Coordinator is an outstanding communications and multimedia professional who works under the Director of Communications and Marketing Department (CMD) and manages communications and marketing projects, creates informative/educational content through graphic and video production, news and feature reports, develops informational initiatives, while contributing to Brownsville TV and on-line platforms. The Coordinator uses interpersonal, computer, communication, marketing, and graphic design to serve the CMD; leverages communications techniques, plans and organizes city event and promotional material, and interacts with internal and external customers.
The Coordinator will contribute to the efficient operation of social media marketing, Brownsville TV, creative services, while enhancing the overall presence of the City of Brownsville on-line. Responsibilities include producing compelling content (i.e. graphic design, news/feature reporting, video production), supporting City social media platforms and collaborating with various City departments to convey our City's initiatives, events, and services.

Responsible for use of equipment/property such as office equipment, supplies, etc., which are used in office. Use of city vehicles.
