Support the continuous improvement of procurement procedures and controls to ensure they remain effective and aligned with business needs.
Maintain and update the register of all opportunities, submissions, and related documentation.
Track Contract Managers’ compliance with required reporting for their respective sectors or contract areas.
Execute procurement category strategies and pipeline projects to drive cost savings, service improvements, innovation, and risk mitigation.
Collaborate with the Commercial & Procurement Manager to provide category insights, expertise, and best practices to support bids and develop competitive supply chain solutions.
Monitor category performance, including strategy implementation, project delivery, spend, and compliance.
Provide tools, guidance, and support to enable self-serve procurement activities for sourcing projects below a specified financial threshold.
Conduct supplier due diligence and onboarding in accordance with company policies and standards.
Offer purchasing guidance, including policy requirements, preferred suppliers, sourcing routes, and best practices.
Perform monthly contract spend analysis to identify compliance gaps and improvement areas, and support the implementation of corrective actions.
Manage supplier contract approvals, signatures, and archiving within internal systems.
Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including commercial, contracts, legal, and procurement teams.
Maintain up-to-date market knowledge through supplier engagement, industry updates, and procurement insights.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the line manager or department head.
