About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Estimator for plastering, interior linings, and external cladding projects in Brisbane. This flexible freelance/remote role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and supporting local commercial projects with a strong emphasis on Australian building codes, standards, and construction practices.

Key Responsibilities

Review architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents for plastering, linings, and cladding works.

Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, take-offs, and material/labour calculations.

Assess variations, design changes, and adjust estimates.

Ensure all estimates comply with Australian building codes and standards.

Requirements

Experience in estimating Australian commercial plastering, interior linings, and external cladding projects.

Strong knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and construction practices.

Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Buildsoft, Bluebeam, Planswift)

Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects remotely.

Trade qualification or construction/estimating background preferred.
